Bardörp explores a minimal construction principle based on interlocking geometry. Three solid-wood legs slot precisely into each other to form a stable tripod – no screws, glue, or additional fasteners required. The tabletop attaches with Lamello Clamex connectors, assembled quickly and intuitively using only a single Allen key.

The way the elements meet recalls the playful logic of wooden puzzles, while the reduced joinery keeps the assembly effortless and clear. Each of the four parts is cut from standard 27 mm boards, allowing for efficient material use and compact packaging. Crafted from FSC-certified European oak with a natural oil finish, Bardörp is durable, separable into its materials, and fully aligned with circular design principles.

The silhouette playfully nods to the rocket in Tintin, while the name Bardörp references the coat of arms of Bergedorf (a district of Hamburg) depicting three oaks on three hills, which is mirrored by the table’s three legs.

Beyond the side table, the same construction system extends naturally to a stool and a bench, highlighting the versatility of the Bardörp family.
